Lucille Beseler

Lucille Beseler, MS,RD,LD/N,CDE founded the Family Nutrition Center of South Florida in 1991 with a vision to improve the nutritional health of families and children.  As an author, professional speaker, licensed nutritionist and registered dietitian she has reached many.  Her work was recently heralded  by the Florida International University with a  PATHS award in the field of dietetics and nutrition.  In July 2010 she was again honored as the Outstanding Dietitian of the year by the members of the Florida Dietetic Association. 
In June 2011 Lucille was elected to the Board of Directors of the  Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. 

Her accomplishments include: 

Registered/Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist 

Masters of Science Degree in Nutrition from New York University.  

Certified Diabetes Educator

Since 1991 Lucille has help thousands of clients, adult and children alike. She is profoundly knowledgeable in dealing with adults and children with nutritional problems including but not limited to obesity, failure to thrive, food allergies, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, celiac disease and inflammatory bowel disease. She has practiced in the area of weight control and Bariatric nutrition for many years and is certified in Childhood and Adult Weight Management by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

She is a professional speaker with a positive upbeat approach that not only entertains but educates. Over the last 14 years she has conducted hundreds of lectures for parents, children, health professionals, and corporations. 

Her recent book, "Nurturing with Nutrition" Everything you need to know about feeding infants and children has received great reviews from parents and pediatricians.
Lucille is an avid volunteer for her profession including the Florida Dietetic Association and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.  
.  She served for nine years as the Chairman of the state licensing board for dietitians/nutritionists.  She went on to serve as the President of the Florida Dietetic Association and  as the Chair of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Political Action Committee.
